PHASE ONE

TECHNICAL DISCUSSION

Services begin by having a quick general discussion to see if we can help.  Typically our services are a fit for high value quarantined lots or when production batches need overcheck.  If the fit is right and mutual NDA’s are in place when required, a technical discussion takes place with key product stakeholders and our team surrounding the goals for sorting & segregation.

PHASE TWO

SYSTEM MATCHING

Our lab has a wide variety of conveyor and large vault X-Ray and CT scanning based imaging systems at our disposal.  Energies include; 100kv, 150kv, 160kv, 225kv, 300kv, 450kv, and 3Mev.  This diversity along with custom fixture development and experienced workflows allows us to efficiently match up the right tool with the project for providing repeatable high quality results.

PHASE THREE

PASS / FAIL (SEGREGATION &  CONTAINMENT)

Based upon the projects agreed upon written scope, we inspect and pass / fail the results in real-time at the imaging system or offline after imaging is completed at our 15,000 sq/ft climate-controlled facility.

(2D) X-RAY INSPECTION

Quick, cost effective, overlapping view, requires one single image.  

(3D) CT INSPECTION

Slower, high costs, virtual section view, requires hundreds of images.

Real-time 2D digital radiography and radiographic X-ray inspection for rapid pass-fail part sorting and screening of castings, welds, battery assemblies, gaskets, and electronic seals to find short failures and cracked solder joints.
Industrial 3D CT scanning, micro-CT tomography, and X-ray inspection for internal defect pass-fail part screening of castings, welds, battery assemblies, gaskets, and electronic seals to analyze failure points.
