- Pre-production Inspection
Qualifying dimensions of 3D printed parts during pre-production ensures part fidelity to original designs. Our nondestructive industrial CT services verify complex dimensions and identify variations from the CAD model, saving time and costs in the long run. We also provide metrology data during First Article Inspection for aerospace (AS9102) and automotive (PPAP). When establishing a manufacturing process, we provide quick validation of 3D printed test bars and multi quadrant test samples.
- Production Inspection
Industrial CT inspection conducted for every part or at specified intervals during production can identify residual powders, verify dimensions, and validate internal part geometry. Our offline production inspection service is thus ideal for full qualification of parts and assemblies, giving manufacturers peace of mind. Industrial CT is also useful for FAI during the production stage.
- Part Sorting
For sorting and lot inspection of 3D printed parts, our industrial CT services take the guesswork out of quarantined, warranty or recalled parts. We provide a traceable, repeatable inspection process to isolate suspect parts so good parts are brought back into production. Industrial X-ray is another option for higher volume part sorting.
